The best professional development is worth little without the resources for implementation. The depth of Boundless Readers professional development coupled with the provision of classroom resources (children’s books and professional books) are essential to preparing teachers for success in the classroom.
It is critical that children have regular access to and choice of a wide variety of books that meet their interests. Boundless Readers believes that providing classroom libraries filled with thought-provoking children’s and young adult books from which to choose, time to read every day, and opportunity to take books home is essential to developing children’s reading ability, habit, and independence.
Teacher participants research children’s books in our Rochelle Lee Review Library so they select books that best address the needs and interests of their students.
