Boundless Readers helps schools develop literacy leadership, build professional community and collaboration, and build a sustainable infrastructure for whole-school educational change.

School administrators report that Boundless Readers teachers take on literacy leadership roles and share information about best practices with their colleagues.  Specifically, Boundless Readers teachers lead professional development sessions at their schools that result in non-participating teachers adopting lessons and tools that the teacher leader learned through Boundless Readers.

Teachers report that Boundless Readers supports an increase in teacher collaboration around planning and material development as well as opening classroom doors for more sharing of good practices.

Seventy percent of Boundless Readers alumni see themselves as literacy change agents, and another 15% would like to develop in that role.   Eighty-five percent of Boundless Readers teacher leaders report increased knowledge of and advocacy for literacy best practices.

When looking at comparison school data, it is clear that Boundless Readers increases teacher collaboration and builds literacy leadership in low capacity schools.
