BEST: Building Exemplary Schools through Teams
BEST (Building Exemplary Schools through Teams) is a breakthrough initiative from Boundless Readers launched in the Spring of 2010. It builds on our extensive work with study groups (school-based teacher teams) around leadership, professional collaboration, and literacy instruction. Intended as a national model, BEST multiplies our impacts exponentially by taking a whole-school approach. This includes classroom teachers, principals and support staff.
Lead funders for this three-year program include the Louis R. Lurie Foundation and the Lloyd A. Fry Foundation.
