Boundless Readers supports teams of teachers within schools to ensure a strong and sustainable model for change.
We provide teacher teams with school-based professional learning opportunities, known as study groups, as a way to strengthen teacher learning and encourage whole school improvement. These teacher-led teams foster a school culture of collaboration, experience as an effective team member, and leadership development.
Our teacher-led study groups are based on the following assumptions:
- Teachers possess the capacity, expertise, and desire to direct the focus and process of their own professional growth;
- Teachers’ own practices and experiences in the context of their work provide worthwhile content for collaborative learning with their colleagues; and
- Collegiality, cooperation, and communication among teachers are valued by the school community.
